TRAVERSE CITY, MICHIGAN. Interventional cardiologist sought for 13-physician cardiology group in the renowned resort community of Traverse City, MI. Potential for 250 interventional procedures 1st year. No peripheral interventions available. All members practice general cardiology in addition to their subspecialty. Each cardiologist travels to an outreach clinic one day per week. You'll be on call only 4 nights per month. The newly renovated office is across the street from the hospital. The group also owns their own diagnostic center with 2 nuclear cameras, treadmills and echo. The hospital has 400 beds and is consistently ranked in the top 100 hospitals in the country. The cardiovascular surgery and the cardiology departments were also honored as one of only 34 hospitals to have both departments ranked in the top 100 nationally. The group offers a $225,000 - $250,000 base salary, generous benefits including 30 days for vacation and CME (66 days for partners) and partnership after 18 months.
