Journal Content Hosting Transfer

Effective with Volume 8, issue 2, the full text of the journal will now be available online at the following address:

Non-journal content, such as discussion forum postings, education programs, surgical videos, audio interviews, etc., will continue to be available to all visitors at the regular site: http://www.hsforum.com

The new journal hosting system requires that subscribers register on the MetaPress (http://www.metapress.com) system. Such registration is free and will enable you to access all journals that you subscribe to which are hosted on the MetaPress system, including The Heart Surgery Forum. To register, go to http://www.metapress.com and click on "Register" in the menu on the left side of the page.

If you are not a current journal subscriber, you can purchase a subscription through the MetaPress system and your online access will be automatically granted.

During the transition to our new hosting system, we will need to know your MetaPress ID number, which is assigned to you by MetaPress upon your registration at the hosting site. It is required in order to activate your access to the HSF through the new site. (If you already have a MetaPress ID number, you can continue to use that number.) Institutional subscribers will need to input their IP ranges into the MetaPress system. Once you have a MetaPress ID, please send it along to us with your full name in an e-mail to:
