About ACTS 2006: Advanced Cardiac Techniques in Surgery

This fifth-in-the-series, two-day teleconference will combine six surgical demonstrations performed live from Lenox Hill Hospital in the morning and scientific presentations in the afternoon by international leaders in our field. This year, the focus will be placed on the most recent advances in the surgical treatment of heart valve diseases, left ventricular failure, aortic arch aneurysms and chronic atrial fibrillation with emphasis on the less invasive approaches including percutaneous techniques. A moderating panel will facilitate interaction between the audience and the faculty. Exhibitors will present the latest technologies in cardiac surgery.
